*Note: Schedule and courses are subject to change! The start will take place in all weathers, provided there is no weather warning from the German Weather Service.

Start & Finish

All courses of the Goethe.Culture.Run start south of Weimar City Palace next to the Bastille. The finish is at the Platz der Demokratie.

  • 4.2 k Course “Fantasy” with 2 cultural breaks (Goethe's Garden House & Bee Museum)
  • 7.6 k Course “Sensuality” with 2 cultural breaks (Roman House & Belvedere Palace)
  • 13.8 k Course “Mind” with 4 cultural breaks (Tiefurt Castle & Green Classroom in Webicht & Schiesshaus & Goethe and Schiller Archive, Terrace)
  • Complete course of 25.6 k “Reason” with all 8 cultural breaks

Start card & Race material

Start card
Approximately 7 to 10 days before the event, we will automatically send you your start card and all important information about your participation by email.

Race material pick-up

When:

  • Saturday, April 26, 2025 (time will follow)

Where:

  • at the congress centrum Weimarhalle

How:

  • with your start card & ID
  • with a power of attorney, the start card & a copy of the ID card race material can be picked up for other participants

Time keeping

The time is measured by running over the timing mats at the start and finish. Only the total time is measured. The time keeping is not stopped during the cultural breaks.
There is a TAG for time keeping on the back of the start number. As this is a disposable transponder, there is no need to return it.
 

Bag storage

For a fee of 5 € you can leave a bag for storage during your race. You can book this option directly with your registration.

Changing facilities

Changing facilities will be available on the day of the event. However, there will be no showers on site.

Medals, certificate & results

Every finisher will receive a well-deserved medal at the end of the race.

You can download your personal finisher certificate from the results list.

Changes, cancellation & insurance

Change of discipline
Changes to another disciplin are possible as long as the participation limit has not been reached. We will charge a processing fee of 5 €.

Please contact us with your request to change the discipline via our contact form.

Exchange
Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer your starting place to another person or another year. Your starting place is personalized and related to the event.

You will find detailed information on withdrawal and exchange in our conditions of participation.

Withdrawal

Due to the logistical and organisational complexity of the event, we cannot refund the participation fee if you are unable to attend. Thank you for your understanding.

Insurance
To cover the participation fee, we recommend purchasing the ERGO cancellation insurance during your online registration. More information can be found here →.
